Tripura Violence

  Since the 2018 elections, there have been sporadic incidents of violence in Tripura, particularly between supporters of the ruling BJP and the opposition parties, including the CPM. In September 2019, clashes broke out between the BJP and the Indigenous People's Front of Tripura (IPFT) during a rally organized by the IPFT, leading to several injuries.
